Flexible Pricing Plan

VoterAccess is a superior value, saving campaigns many times its purchase price in service bureau costs for mailing lists, walk sheets, call sheets, analytical reports, and more. To make VoterAccess even more affordable we have adopted a flexible pricing plan that enables both incumbents and challengers to stage their payments across campaign cycle. We have instituted a combination of module-based pricing, and user/campaign-type pricing, the thrust of which is to provide a lower entry point for small constituency campaigns.  Prices now begin at only $795 for small campaigns. Please call for details.

Inquiries about pricing for the PDI Campaign Manager, the OEM version of VoterAccess available directly from Political Data, Inc., should be made by email to gary@politicaldata.com, or by calling (800) 638-4649. Information about data costs for PDI files is available at
http://www.politicaldata.com/PurchasingData.pdf.

Product Packaging & Installation

VoterAccess comes on a single CD and is installed using a standard Setup routine. It comes with sample Voter and Contact Database files, so no additional data has to be purchased to start using it. A detailed Manual is also included. If you have purchased Voter Data concurrent with your purchase of VoterAccess, this data will come on a separate CD. Any Pentium class PC running any Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000/XP version with 64MB of RAM can run VoterAccess. Campaigns with larger Voter Databases will want to use faster PCs, but any mid-range PC can easily run a Congressional campaign with 350,000 records.

Note that you may also install the program from this web site by installing the Demo program (see Support page) and then replacing the license file with the one you receive with your order.

FREE Product Updates for Duration of License
Updates to VoterAccess are sent via Email, or downloaded from this site. These updates are provided free of charge during the period for which you have licensed VoterAccess.

Voter Data Sources & Costs
The cost per record for voter data varies greatly, depending on both the source and the difficulty of collecting voter history data. Typical third party supplier costs are in the $10-$15/thousand records range, but there are some areas and file selections where data will cost up to $25/thousand records.

In California, VoterAccess data files should be purchased from Political Data, Inc.(PDI). PDI offers an OEM version of VoterAccess called the PDI Campaign Manager and can process data for use with VoterAccess as part of your order. Using a different vendor will result in increases cost due to custom processing requirements. The process of converting PDI data into VoterAccess databases has been fully automated. The same files are used by either version of VoterAccess. To contact PDI, call (800) 638-4649 and ask for Gary Brown or Dean Rona. You may place orders for data and/or a copy of the PDI Campaign manager at http://www.politicaldata.com/order_form.html.

Training & Support
Support is provided by phone and by Email at no cost for a single contact within an organization. VoterAccess is extremely powerful, but so easy to use that most users take a week or so to get up to speed. After this time, most support calls deal with strategies for taking best advantage of VoterAccess. If users want a jump-start, in-depth training is available for $500 per day, plus travel, if required.
